America Connected

America Connected® is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to building global connections through international, cultural, and economic activities. Our mission focuses on promoting Global Cultural Awareness, bringing nations and peoples of the world closer together. Through our work, we teach people and demonstrate the significance of connecting with each other. By understanding and appreciating diverse cultures, we build bridges of empathy and respect, paving the way for a more harmonious and enriched life. This awareness is key to ensuring a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

Our leadership brings extensive experience to the table. Marjorie Hope is an accomplished author, entrepreneur, and advocate for global connection. She has written the books Kari’s Gold and CONNECTIPLOMACY. A graduate of Salisbury University with postgraduate certifications from the London School of Economics and Harvard University, her diverse background includes owning and operating a successful gymnastics school, where she championed the integration of mind, body, and spirit in fitness education. In 2016, she founded America Connected®, an international non-profit dedicated to teaching cultural diplomacy worldwide. Her latest book, CONNECTIPLOMACY: Using Our Differences to Connect, published in 2023, exemplifies her commitment to promoting understanding and unity across borders.

For America Connected, international travel is a vital component of our mission to help people worldwide and make a meaningful difference. Impact Story: One of our most inspiring stories is from our “Cultural Diplomacy Program” where we met people in India and Dubai and participated in a week-long cultural immersion experience. Maria from India showed us in Kerala, India the four corners symbolizing interfaith harmony called Chennamangalam (also spelled Chendamangalam). This village is renowned for its unique representation of religious coexistence, featuring a Hindu temple, a mosque, a church, and a synagogue in close proximity to each other. This program not only developed a deep bond between these countries but also demonstrated the power of cultural exchange in promoting global understanding. In Dubai, we had the incredible opportunity to befriend a Sheikh. Together, we took a memorable photo where he gave a thumbs up, symbolizing our mutual appreciation and newfound understanding of each other’s cultures.
