Is Religion A Part Of Cultural Diplomacy

Central Theme

Religion has always been a central theme in international relations and foreign policy.  Using inter-religious dialogue can overcome mistrust and hostility between Muslims, and Christians, and Jews.  By showing their common “Abraham” traditions and ideas,  and moral order; we can circumvent hostilities toward each other by showing the common ground.  Knowledge of religion is an important skill and must be first combined with the  skills of diplomacy with a foreign nation.  It is important to first have the solid relationship through cultural diplomacy with people who are actively involved, and the intellectual preparation to conduct the affairs of resolution towards a peaceful resolution.
